Noise walls along both sides of I-95 will be constructed in this phase. Traffic will be shifted towards the outside of the existing roadway to accommodate the temporary road and bridge construction in the existing median.

Southbound traffic will be diverted to the newly constructed median area as the road and bridge improvements on the southbound side of I-95 are constructed.

Northbound traffic will be diverted to the previously constructed median and the southbound traffic will be on the newly constructed southbound roadway area as the road and bridge improvements on the northbound side of I-95 are constructed.

October, 2004

Complete the construction of the road and bridge improvements in the median as northbound and southbound traffic use the newly constructed roadways.

August, 2005

Traffic will be shifted into its final configuration as the roadway is resurfaced.
