North of Hypoluxo Road and south of 6th Avenue South noise walls along east sides of I-95 and north of Lantana Road will be constructed in this phase. Traffic will be shifted towards the outside of the existing roadway to accommodate the temporary road and bridge construction in the existing median. A temporary closure of I-95 northbound and southbound will be necessary to remove the pedestrian overpass north of Lantana Road. The closure will take place during off-peak hours, one night for each side, starting January 6, 2002.

North of Hypoluxo Road and south of 6th Avenue South. Northbound traffic will be diverted to the newly constructed median area as the road and bridge improvements on the northbound side of I-95 are constructed.
February, 2004

North of Hypoluxo Road and south of 6th Avenue South. Southbound traffic will be diverted to the previously constructed median, and the northbound traffic will be on the newly constructed northbound roadway area as the road and bridge improvements on the southbound side of I-95 are constructed.

North of Hypoluxo Road and south of 6th Avenue South. Complete the construction of the road in the median as northbound and southbound traffic use the newly constructed roadway. All work from Lantana Road to the 12th Avenue bridge will be completed in this phase.

South of Gateway Boulevard to south of Lantana. Complete the construction of the road in the median as northbound and southbound traffic is towards the outside of the existing roadway.
July, 2005

South of Gateway Boulevard to south of Lantana. Traffic will be shifted to the new median as the road improvements on the existing northbound and southbound takes place. Also the I-95 on and off ramps at Gateway Blvd, Hypoluxo Road, and Lantana Road will be reconstructed on this phase.

Complete the remainder of all ramps with ramp closures. Only one ramp will be closed at any given time. Ramps will be close for a period of 20 to 40 days.
March, 2006

Shift traffic to final configuration as the roadway is resurfaced on existing northbound and southbound I-95. Work will take place during off peak hours with temporary lane closures.
